Small press publishing is a distinctive and rich area of UK arts that includes artists’ books, editions, ephemera, magazines, fine press books, poetry pamphlets and zines. The Small Publishers Fair Fair is an annual snapshot of some of the best in UK small press publishing.
The Fair has a rich history, going back to 2002 and has become a cornerstone for its small press communities. Through the Fair, and through this archive and blog, The Small Publishers Fair aims to help raise awareness the sector, its C20th roots, international connections and influences.
